Who we are
Stark Builders is the trading name of FSX Developments Pty Ltd, a design and build studio at 9 Forsyth St, Fairfield QLD 4103. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean Stark Builders.
This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information, including through our website, our advertising and our customer relationship tools. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
The information you give us: your name, email address and phone number, the address or suburb of your house, what you would like to do with it, your budget and timing, and anything else you tell us in a form, an email, a call or a meeting.
Information collected automatically when you use our website: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and for how long, the website or advertisement that brought you here (including advertising click identifiers and campaign tags), and interactions such as form submissions. This is collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies, described below.

How we use it

Cookies, pixels and analytics
We use the following tools. Each may set cookies or collect information about your visit.
HubSpot. We use HubSpot as our customer relationship system. When you submit a form, your details are stored in HubSpot so we can follow up. HubSpot tracking cookies may record the pages you visit on our website and connect that activity to your contact record once you have submitted a form.
Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure the results of our advertising and to build audiences, so that people who have visited our website may see our advertising on Meta platforms. Meta receives information such as the pages you view and whether you submitted an enquiry. You can manage this in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
Google. We use Google Ads conversion tracking, and may use Google Analytics, to measure which advertisements lead to enquiries and how our website is used. You can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
Framer. Our website is built and hosted on Framer, which processes technical information to deliver the site and may provide us with anonymous visitor statistics.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is needed: with service providers who help us run our business (such as HubSpot, Google, Meta, Framer and our email and file-storage providers), with the consultants who work on your project with your knowledge (such as engineers, certifiers, surveyors and heritage consultants), and where the law requires it.

Overseas storage
Some of our service providers, including HubSpot, Google and Meta, store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Project records are kept for the period required for building work in Queensland.

Marketing
If you have enquired with us, we may occasionally contact you about your project or our work. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to an email or contacting us using the details below.

Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
