Stark Builders' First Queenslander Renovation

1992
In 1989, Stark Builders embarked on one of their earliest house raise and build under projects, transforming this classic Queenslander into a two-story family home. As experienced builders in Brisbane, the team carefully lifted the home, with the first image capturing the early phases of the house raise. By 1990, the wrap-around verandah and entrance steps were added. The final photo from 1992 reveals the completed transformation, with a functional ground level and a refreshed upper floor.
This project, completed over 35 years ago, stands as a testament to Stark Builders’ long-standing commitment to quality, durability, and respect for Brisbane’s architectural character. As a multigenerational company, we’ve passed down our expertise, craftsmanship, and dedication through the years, ensuring that every new project reflects the same high standards that started with our first renovations.
