THE BRIEF, AND WHAT WE DID

This Graceville house was raised under the Resilient Homes Fund, lifting the dwelling clear of future flood levels while improving how it works as a home.

The raised house has an open plan connecting the living, dining and kitchen, with a pantry off the kitchen, three bedrooms and two new bathrooms.

A timber deck extends the living space outside. The finished house is safer in a flood and better to live in every other day of the year.
