Coorparoo, character renovation

A character house in Coorparoo renovated inside, with the layout reconfigured for more open and practical everyday living.

The upper level has a new kitchen, a walk-in robe and an ensuite finished in custom joinery, with engineered blonde oak flooring throughout to lighten the rooms.

Raising the ceiling in the main living area gives the room height and light, and new timber bifold doors open it onto the deck. Downstairs, the laundry and bathroom were rebuilt with joinery planned for storage.

The result is a bright, updated house that still reads as the character home it was.
